ISO 9001:2008 RECERTIFIED - Audubon Machinery Corp (AMC), and its divisions Oxygen Generating Systems Intl. (OGSI) and SMC-Roe have satisfied the criteria for ISO 9001:2008 Certification. AMC has demonstrated effective implementation of documentation and records management, top management's commitment to its customers, establishment of clear policy, good planning and implementation, good resource management, efficient process control, measurement and analysis. ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFIED – Audubon Machinery Corp (AMC) achieved ISO 9001:2000 Certification in 2007 for design, manufacture, installation, startup, and repair of oxygen generators and large washing apparatus for a variety of industries. In 2009, the company was recertified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. The company was certified by SRI International, and a copy of the registration certificate is available here.
ENVIRONMENTAL CORPORATE LEADERSHIP – On Earth Day in 2007, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) honored Audubon Machinery for Protecting and Enhancing Environmental Quality. Audubon Machinery was recognized for its efforts in building the first Green Certified Factory in New York State.
LEED® CERTIFIED BUILDING – In 2005, AMC built its new manufacturing facility on a remediated Brownfield site and implemented measures in accordance with the LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) guidelines in order to obtain its Certified Green Building status from the US Green Building Council. These measures included using recycled materials and installing highly energy efficient systems with consideration for ergonomic and environmental quality.
